The client’s objective was to implement electric system hardening to protect against wildfire and storm threats. The client also simultaneously upgraded the system to accommodate sectionalization, telemetry, and system protection hardware.
Scope
Orion’s staff of construction inspectors provided onsite civil, environmental, and safety inspection, scheduling, and logistics support to client crews and contractors. Orion’s Inspectors also provided regulatory oversight and ensured that all activities were in compliance with permit conditions and safe work practices. Orion’s inspectors compiled job site documentation and reviewed as-built equipment to ensure conformance to design standards and equipment and materials specifications.
